Here’s the boring stuff first
My name is Michelle George. I live in Canberra, Australia. I am a wife to a bloke I’ve been attached to since 1988 (married in 1991) and mother to two teenage boys. I work full time as an ICT Service Delivery Manager…art is what I would rather be doing 
I have always wanted to be an artist, but never really got into actually doing any art until 2000 when I was at home with my boys when they were babies.
The “Robertson” part of my studio name comes from my husband’s Scottish clan name.

My credo…for the moment anyway
I think life’s purpose has seasons. It changes regularly and you have to be watching for when it changes directions.
Right now I am exploring the connections between monasticism and creativity. Spirituality and creativity are intrinsically linked. They are symbiotic. Art is allowing me to connect with the Great Creator in ways that are deep and satisfying.
Art is almost the best therapy there is… I say almost because I think mountain biking is probably the best therapy there is.
Either way…I don’t get to do enough of either.
